Event Manager

Are you an organised and energetic leader with a passion for festivals and live events? 8Track is looking for a Seasonal Events Manager to take charge of our festival operations, ensuring smooth setup, service, and breakdown at each event.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Stock & Setup: Load the bus with all necessary items from storage and ensure everything is ready for the event.
  • Team Coordination: Organise and lead a team, ensuring everyone knows their roles and responsibilities.
  • Event Delivery: Set up the bus, manage service, and maintain high standards throughout the event.
  • Breakdown & Reporting: Pack down the event, summarise key outcomes, and report back to the team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous festival experience or bar management experience is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills with the confidence to manage and motivate a team.
  • Highly organised with the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • A hands-on approach and willingness to get stuck in.

Job Details

  • 5 month contract for the summer season
  • Mainly weekend work
  • Will be required to manage a number of different events, mostly in and around Cornwall

8Track Bus Driver & Festival Crew

Love festivals? Passionate about great rum and live music? We’re looking for reliable and hands-on drivers to take the 8Track Bus—our converted US school bus and mobile rum bar—to festivals across Cornwall and South West England.

The Role:

  • Drive the 8Track Bus to and from festivals.
  • Set up and break down the bus, including building the stage on the roof.
  • Keep the bus clean, well-maintained, and festival-ready.
  • Work with the team to create an unforgettable festival experience.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A responsible driver with a Category D licence (or equivalent) to operate a large converted US school bus.
  • Physically fit—comfortable lifting and assembling equipment.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a love for the festival scene.
  • Available two days a week from May to September  (Dates to be agreed)
