Independent and creative in our approach, we’re a socially-conscious, inclusive and responsible team who love rum while championing and supporting independent music, good times together and doing things better for the people and the environment around us. Here’s some things we’re doing so far:

 

We are committed to reducing single use plastic in our packaging. We fulfil all orders placed on 8Trackrum.com in Flexi-hex plastic free packaging. Flexi-hex are an innovative Cornish company who are revolutionising the use of cardboard packaging. See more here.

Our bottles are made from 49% recycled glass and are produced in Britain.

All future production runs of 8Track will use plant-based bottle top seals instead of single-use plastic.

We’re working to calculate our carbon footprint, and reduce this wherever we can. Where we can’t reduce it quite yet, we’ll offset the carbon impact of our operations by planting trees with ecologi, see how we’re doing so far here.

8Track is committed to supporting and celebrating independent music. We have partnered with like minded organisations including TULU - The Underground Link Up, Savage Productions and Neo Music, and are also showcasing new talent through a series of 8Track Presents events. See more here.
